    Transliteration:
    Allahumma inni ‘abduka, ibnu ‘abdika, ibnu amatika, naasiyati biyadik, maadin fiyya hukmuk, ‘adlun fiyya qada’uk. As’aluka bikulli ismin huwa laka, sammayta bihi nafsak, aw anzaltahu fi kitaabik, aw ‘allamtahu ahadan min khalqik, aw ista’tharta bihi fi ‘ilmi al-ghaybi ‘indaka, an taj‘ala al-Qur’āna rabī‘a qalbī, wa nūra ṣadrī, wa jalā’a ḥuznī, wa dhahāba hammī.

    Meaning in English (simplified):
    “O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your male servant and female servant. My forehead is in Your Hand. Your command over me is always executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every Name that is Yours, which You have named Yourself with, revealed in Your Book, taught to any of Your creation, or kept with Yourself in the unseen, that You make the Qur’an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness and the reliever of my worries.”
